Quick Review

Manufacturer: VaporBLUNT

The Good:

It's compact, discreet and easy to use. Doesn't burn the herbs.

The Bad:

Kinda awkward having to press the battery down, and doesn't deliver huge hits.

THE BOTTOM LINE

A solid, aesthetically pleasing handheld vaporizer. Vapor strength is a little disappointing and batteries run out of charge pretty quickly.

Full Review

I’ll say this much: the Palm 2.0 Vaporizer is a decent product; it’s not a great vape but it’s not shitty either. It’s a really good starter vaporizer made with high quality components by industry leader VaporBLUNT. I’d recommend it as a gift for someone who loves herb but has never vaporized. It’s pretty cheap, reliable and delivers decent hits. It’s not ideal for seasoned vaporists who want to vape several times a day, but it’s dependable and incredibly easy to clean.

Here’s what’s cool about the Palm 2.0: It’s really light and compact. It fits easily into a purse or pocket and can be disguised cleverly in the user’s palm, as the name suggests. All you need to do to load it is grind up a couple nugs, pop open the Palm chamber, sprinkle them into the trench and close the Palm lid. Then take a freshly charged battery and press it down with your thumb. It’s pretty simple, a lot like the Magic Flight Launch Box, but this device is a more modern look whereas the Magic Flight is wooden, like an old dugout pipe.

I have to say despite being easier to operate and having a smaller herb chamber, the MFLB definitely rips better than the Palm 2.0. That was my main complaint with this device. I felt that no matter what strength of inhalation I employed, there just weren’t huge clouds of vapor. I mean they were definitely clouds, but they weren’t substantial billows. As I said before this is a great vaporizer if you’ve never vaped before, but if you’re needing this for constant travel, the need to recharge batteries gets a little tiresome and the strength of draw is not satisfying for the discerning vapor enthusiast.

Good overall review. The aesthetics is definitely the best part of the vaporizer.

One problem I have using this one is that the battery goes out quick.

Yeah, it does go out quick, and there’s no indicator light or way to figure out how much charge is left… until it’s too late!

Luckily they give you 2 batteries that have rubber caps on them, so you can store an extra battery in your purse or car.

I wish this vape worked a little better. It has a classic design and is really portable which is nice.

Maybe with the possible 3.0 you can get bigger hits.

Mine works great, you just need to get your timing down. Hold the battery in for about 2-3 seconds before you start to draw. I have noticed that some don’t realize how important it is to finely grind your weed. You really need to make sure it is finely ground and evenly spread out in the heating the chamber. Make sure to stir it every few hits as well, that will really improve the quality of the vapor.

      Palm vs MFLB

I have both and actually use my Palm more. The MFLB is a great vape too don’t get me wrong but this vaporizer is just a little bit easier to carry around for day to day use. I think the Palm also gets slightly bigger clouds too. The battery life might be a bit better on the MFLB too but I think the Palm gives you better clouds of Vapor.

The best thing about the MFLB is that it is made of wood and has cool designs, other than that I don’t think it has much of an upside.

As far as portables go I think the Pinnacle Pro is the best, I know it is not as small and portable as the MFLB or Palm but it is 1000% more powerful and if you add in the Hydrotube the flavor is also way better. Then again you will be spending an extra $100 or so but I think it is worth it. I would also recommend checking out the Ascent, again it is not as small and also more expensive but worth it for sure.

I think the best portable is the Arizer Solo, the MFLB is also good. I am not saying that the Palm is garbage but it is not nearly as good as the other vapes I just mentioned.
