A PORTABLE VAPORIZER, BUT NOT A PEN VAPORIZER

Forget those silly little pen units; they just don’t pack the kind of punch that I demand when I’m trying to vape dry herbs. I tried the Dube and it was nice because it could go anywhere but God, it just kept on burning my blends. And I’m a girl who likes to get the most out of her herb. When I use my Silver Surfer Vaporizer I know I’m going to get a nice high and finish with little brown crumbles of AVB (“All Vaped Bud”) with no ash, no combustion, no burning whatsoever. I like to take the leftover AVB and cook with it. It’s just more economical that way.

A BUTANE POWERED VAPORIZER

I was looking for something portable and efficient with herbs so I decided to try out the Iolite WiSPR Vaporizer. I really liked the look of the WiSPR but was disappointed to see that I needed to load it with butane. This really put a damper on my vaporizing experience having the lingering smell of butane around. Ew. Points deducted.

WISPR IS NOT A QUIET VAPORIZER

Now what about the vaping experience? It’s a little cumbersome to be honest. Also the fact that it’s a portable vaporizer is negated by how conspicuous it is. You have to click the ignition button to get the butane going and wait for the thing to heat up. The whole clicking aspect of it definitely detracted from the subtlety of the device. See, I was hoping to take this thing to the movie theater or a concert and vape on the sly. What’s nice is that it doesn’t smell like ganja when you vape on it, but the clicking makes it super obvious that you’re doing something that will attract attention. It’s easily portable in a purse or pocket, and it definitely doesn’t burn the herbs, but overall, the hits are pretty bland.
