Weed Travels

While marijuana is becoming more and more widely accepted it is still not legal to vaporize anywhere you want.  Today we will talk about five places we visited and vaporized pot legally at our own discretion.  The first place we traveled to was Washington State, after I-502 passed in 2012 marijuana became legal in the Great Northwest.  People know Washington State for its apples and salmon but a little known fact is that the Kennewick Man was discovered there.  Washington State is also home to some of the more famous rock musicians including Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains.  If you are going to travel to Washington and vaporize some marijuana I would recommend traveling into the Cascade Mountains.  You can see a large variety of wildlife there and do some camping, hiking and fishing.  Some of the better known mammals that inhabit the state are the cougar, black bear, moose, bobcat, mustang horse, coyote, deer and pocket gopher.  There is also a large number of eagles, ravens and owls.  Vaporizing some weed and taking a long hike is one of the better experiences you can hope to have in your time there, it was definitely our favorite part of the trip.

The next place we visited and vaped was a bit of a surprise to us because it is not widely known that weed is in fact legal in India.  We traveled around the small city of Jammalamadugu located in Andhra Pradesh and we were free to get stoned and vape anywhere we wanted.  The food of course was also fantastic, we were able to try most of the local dishes in the short two week span we visited.  If you are looking for a place off the beaten path and a place to vape openly without worry of repercussions I would highly recommend traveling to Jammalamadugu.  It should be noted that acquiring a vaporizer in the city can be difficult, we had to travel one hour up a dirt jungle road to find a Magic Flight Launch Box.  The funny part is that the owner who was selling us the MFLB had purchased it off Reddit and was quite fluent in English.   We purchased the MFLB for just under 500 rupees and felt good about the whole transaction.  Vaping in India was a once in a lifetime experience and I hope that I am able to return one day.

Uruguay was the next destination we needed to check off from our list.  Stephanie Bloom has some cousins there so finding our way around town was not that difficult.  We landed in Ciudad de la Costa which is in Canelones and were immediately pick up by Stephanie’s cousin Fernando.  He was very excited about us arriving and had already purchased a large amount of marijuana for us to vaporize.  Locating a vaporizer in Uruguay was much easier than India and we were off and vaping in no time.  The first thing we did was drive to Colonia del Sacramento and visit the famous the lighthouse that is located there.  Being out by the ocean and vaping was a really special treat.  After the long flight from India we needed some time to relax and put our feet up.  For the most part we found that everyone in Uruguay smoked weed but most of them had never heard of a vaporizer.  That was surprising because most the head shops we stopped at carried them.  After eating some empanadas and pastel de carne it was time to go.

The fourth place on our tour de weed was the Czech Republic.  While it is not 100% legal it has been decriminalized and the sale of marijuana is legal.  We had no problem getting our hands on some pot and were up and vaping right away.  There was no chance me and Stephanie were going to the Czech Republic and not visiting Prague and chugging down some beers.  The city itself was very beautiful and easy to navigate, we stopped and visited some museums vaping the entire time.  Marijuana was prevalent almost everywhere we went, no one batted an eyelash at our vaporizers when we were walking down the street.  In Prague we were able to secure an Arizer Solo which is nice because it is one the vaporizers I am most familiar with.  A full charge on the Arizer had us vaping all day, anyone that has used one knows how big of clouds you are able to produce.

The last place we decided to go was back in our home country.  While not technically legal it has been decriminalized so we decided to give it a go.  On the flight back to Los Angeles we decided to stop and land in Washington D.C. so we could vape in memory of the founding fathers.  It is no secret that many of the old presidents grew hemp as an industrial crop.  A little known fact however is that Benjamin Franklin was smoking weed when he flew his kite during that famous lighting storm.  Visiting the Washington Monument was an interesting time, it was weird walking around the nations capital stoned while weed was still illegal in the majority of states.  The District of Columbia has a population of roughly 650,00 people and is considered to be the 24th most populous place in the United States.  Since Stephanie had grown up on the west coast she had never been to the Nations Capital, it was a great experience for all of us and we learned a lot about the history of our nation.

Where should we vape next?

I cant wait until California fully legalizes weed, I know we have it better here than most other states but I still want it to be full legal. I am super jealous of all those people in Colorado and Washington that can vape anywhere they want at anytime. You are not supposed to smoke or vape in public places or on the streets but everyone I have talked to that lives there said it is no problem at all.
